Loyalty Program Marketing Ideas for July 4th

June 21, 2017 | Elaine Arnold

The 4th of July falls on a Tuesday this year, so take some time to create and promote loyalty program offers that bring customers in during the weekend before, and throughout the week after the fireworks are over.

  1. Bonus Points – Reward customers with extra points for shopping for specific 4th of July purchases like BBQ supplies and themed apparel. “Hosting a 4th of July BBQ? Earn 50 bonus points on purchases from our meat & deli department this weekend!”
  2. Cashback Promo – Increase ticket value AND bring customers back with an offer to earn a discount on a future purchase based on a minimum spend. Enjoy $10 off a future purchase when you spend $70 on one purchase before the 4th!”
  3. Double Points – The week might be slow following the 4th, but engage shoppers who are still in town with a double points offer. “The 4th of July is Tues, but we’re celebrating all week with double points on all purchases through Friday!

Special offers and campaigns like these are important for keeping your existing loyalty members engaged and active in your program. If you’re using AppCard at your business always feel free to contact your Success manager for more great ideas!
